Writer. Actor. Publisher.

My first audition became my first job at KUTV, a CBS affiliate in Salt Lake City. PM Magazine, a nightly news and entertainment show, hired me to write and host a segment called “Tankful of Gas Getaway.” My on-camera story telling reflected the variety and beauty of Utah’s attractions. Seeing my work, WNEW-TV in New York City contacted me, and I continued writing and hosting “Tankful of Gas Getaway” in the Empire State.

Work begets work and ABC’s All My Children offered me a recurring role for six years on the popular daytime show. During my time in Manhattan I was a member of three professional unions: Actors’ Equity (stage), The American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, and the Screen Actors Guild (film).

Go west, young man was the call many New York actors heeded. Los Angeles offered episodic television and feature films. I was cast as an Italian (no stretch there) arms dealer in the feature film Private War shot in Yugoslavia where the oppression of communism was palpable.

Fast forward to 1996. The desire to return to writing prompted me to create River Journal Inc., a monthly news and views publication for villages on the Hudson River north of Manhattan. The paper afforded me the opportunity to contribute articles and perform my one-man show, Aging A Bad Rap, at the historic Music Hall Theater.

Since selling River Journal Inc. in late 2018, I have written one novella and three novels. Today my life revolves around writing.
